Night or day?
Mornings are better for concentration. You sit down, write a bunch of emails, get dressed, drink your coffee, then go to work. Having said that, my work also often includes going to openings which are in the evenings. Evenings are for lively interaction.
Things you can’t work without?
Not really things, but more of interactions with others – artists and curators. It is important for me to see how the work of others develops. When I work with the work of deceased artists I miss interaction the most. The production of exhibitions also gives me a huge kick of energy. I can't work in a vacuum.
What starts your creative process?
Conversations. Seeing things and wondering. Intersection, interdisciplinary, history and current events – at the end contemporary art is about contemporary society.
