Designblok 2022 - Permanent Values
Olgoj Chorchoj, VOIX and zeitgeist.limited join to create products with permanent values.
Solid wood, leather, glass, aluminum and steel. These are the materials that are combined in one product, which was created in collaboration with the studio Olgoj Chorchoj, the producer zeitgeist.limited and the audio & cinema specialists VOIX. And they are not chosen by chance. Solid wood dampens vibrations so that the music stands out even better, steel keeps it firmly on its feet, tempered colored glass organizes the vinyl collections and leather gives them a luxurious organic touch. There is also a unique detail – a special place to display the vinyl record that is currently listened to.
And so three hifi cabinets for electronic and audio accessories were created for the most loyal lovers of the sound of distinction, while 70s Long & 70s Tall and 90s Steel are visually inspired by two characteristic periods.
What could be better than enjoying music played from vinyl combined with a design made-to-measure to this experience.
And so three hifi cabinets for electronic and audio accessories were created for the most loyal lovers of the sound of distinction, while 70s Long & 70s Tall and 90s Steel are visually inspired by two characteristic periods. The main idea of the product is its lasting value, the effort to create something with a specific purpose, something that clients will cherish for a long time and pass on from generation to generation. Such an approach is also the most sustainable strategy. The result of the work is therefore nothing other than honest objects finished to the last details, made from first-class materials by experienced designers and craftsmen.
Thanks to the honest handiwork of Czech master craftsmen, the latest technology combining author's know-how with traditional methods, not only an original design was created, but also a very functional product developed exactly to the needs of a demanding customer and a lover of high-quality audio.

zeitgeist.limited presents new line bolt and extends collection steps.
The goal of the design studio and manufacturer zeitgeist.limited is to create designs that will be passed down through generations. This idea accompanies not only their limited editions and portfolio staples but also their latest objects, the Bolt Chair and Steps Vase. Pure raw materials, honest handmade work by Czech master craftsmen, and the latest technologies combining authors' know-how with traditional methods are all embodied in the handwriting of this local brand.
Minimalist forms with many material options for maximum uniqueness – this is what the new Bolt Chair boasts. The chair, in its basic form, is made of solid ash wood and designed to be transformable according to the individual needs and preferences of the client. From the selection of wood and its various finishes to seat applications in leather or other materials, down to details of joints made from precious metals. Its high degree of variability determines its future appearance: in its basic version, it can appear almost utilitarian, but with more significant wood staining, it becomes a significant standalone piece in a room. "The intention was a simple, striking form that allows us to work with many material variations," adds Jakub Pollág. The construction details that mechanically join the four individual parts of the chair are clearly visible for one important reason – by revealing the product's skeleton, they not only give it an honest character but also allow for adjustments and potential future repairs by subsequent generations.
Almost five kilograms of quality lead-free crystal glass form the latest addition to the award-winning Steps series. The Steps Vase will be available, like the well-known whiskey glasses, again in a very limited number, in both clear (Crystal Clear) and dark purple (Deep Purple) colors. If the form of Steps Glass has proven to create pleasant evenings, the impressive Steps Vase will complement the unique atmosphere on the dining (or working) table. Following the pattern of other items, each vase will be a complete original, thanks to a number laser-etched on its bottom. Serial numbers and limited editions in the presentation of this design brand become not only stories of each object's development but also a collector's piece that will never reappear in the same form once sold out.
