Engineer

In our studio, we have opened the position of Engineer. If you enjoy challenges and have experience in design, please read on.
We are approached by architects, product designers, companies, and interior designers who seek a specific approach, and their projects are ALWAYS a challenge, whether it's in terms of construction or materials. Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with experience who can help us with the design engineering of constructions and the subsequent production of products for our projects, coordinating them for successful implementation. Most of our work revolves around metal, glass, wood, 3D printing, and electronics.

What we require for this position:

  • knowledge of Fusion 360 (or Inventor, SolidWorks) on the advanced level

  • knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes and the behavior of various materials

  • the ability to work at a high level with different types of materials

  • the ability to manage your work independently and responsibly

  • the type B driver's license is a plus

  • experience with craftsmanship and manual skills – sometimes hands-on work is needed in the workshop.

Design studio manager

Are you passionate about bespoke design? We're looking for a dedicated colleague to oversee the smooth operation of our award-winning studio, zeitgeist.limited, located at Jiřího z Poděbrad in Prague. Join our creative team and help manage the day-to-day activities of this dynamic design space.

Our portfolio includes objects made from various materials, from glass and wood to metal, with a strong emphasis on quality and sustainable craftsmanship. We work on domestic and international bespoke interior projects with a vision for progressive growth, so english is a must (including active participation in international design fairs). The role involves a variety of tasks, such as production assistance with individual projects, PR, copywriting, managing social media and newsletters, basic administration, and supporting accounting management.

Job responsibilities:

  • overseeing the complete office operations (managing office mail, administrative tasks, calendar management, ensuring office supplies, coordinating cleaning and maintenance, organizing and preparing meetings...),

  • supporting accounting management (collaborating with an external accountant),

  • managing social media, the website (Squarespace), creating newsletters, copywriting, PR,

  • preparing and producing marketing campaigns (with an external specialist) and supporting brand strategy development,

  • project management (production assistance with individual projects, events, and participation in design fairs),

  • proactively solving problems and anticipating issues.
